# How to Use the Channel Usage Analysis Tab

The **channel** **usage** on the analysis tab allows you to analyze how long the vehicle has been driven with a specific channel active. Analysis can be performed either by individual device or by device group.

Select the channels you wish to analyze from the "**Selected channels**" section. For example, if you want to see how long a specific vehicle spent plowing during the period under review, select the desired vehicle(s) from the blue top bar and choose "plowing" as the channel to display. You can select multiple channels at once.

Please note that the data received from the channels depends on the model of the tracking device used, accessories, and the installation setup. Not all devices provide direct access to all the data required for channel analysis.

You can obtain further information by clicking the blue info button if needed. You can also save the data to your own computer in CSV format.
