# How to Use the Drives Tab

On the "**Drives**" tab, you can view the status of vehicle trips. By default, Paikannin.com displays the trip status for the current day, but you can also view trips from previous days by changing the date..

You can change the fleet displayed in the view by removing or adding selected device groups or devices via the blue top bar. The dashboard view displays only the selected device groups or devices.

By pressing the "**Compare**" button, you can compare drives for your desired time period**.** The "Compare" button's quick-select menu offers the following comparison options.:

- Previous day
- 7 days ago
- Previous 7 days
- Previous week
- Custom range

 

You can also **limit the displayed time range if** (delimit time range), in addition to a specific day, you want to view a particular time interval.

**The start and end times** chart allows you to quickly see when your fleet has been in use.

In the **”Order devices”** section, you can arrange your fleet list in your preferred order. By default, Paikannin.com arranges the fleet by ”First started”. Other options include:

- Last started
- First returned
- Laset returned
- Highest utilization rate
- Lowest utilization rate
- Alphabetical

 

You can change the dashboard settings via the **gear** **icon**. The settings that can be modified are as follows:

- Auto refresh page every 5 minutes if current day I selected
- Show bad drive habits
- Show geofence crossings
- Channels on main timeline 
    - Displays the various channels that may have been active (e.g., snowplowing/sanding data) above the route
    - Options available: 
          - Don’t show
          - Show only inside drives
          - Show all
- Channels on single device timeline 
    - Displays the various channels that may have been active (e.g., snowplowing/sanding data) in the detailed view for the specific vehicle
    - Options available: 
          - Don’t show
          - Show only inside drives
          - Show all

 

By clicking the **blue info button** next to the gear icon, you can view detailed explanations (timeline legend) of the various colors and icons that may appear on the timeline.
